LOCATION
Situated opposite the local supermarket this thriving business has an established clientele plus being a popular venue for the travelling public. Uralla is renowned for its food outlets and is the only town between Willow Tree and Tenterfield where the highway goes through the main business area.
The name “Uralla” was taken by European settlers from the dialect of the local Anaiwan people, and means “meeting place”. Appropriately named, Uralla is located 501km north of Sydney and 485km south of Brisbane at the meeting of the New England Highway and Thunderbolt’s Way. The town is famous for its connection with bushranger Fred Ward, alias Captain Thunderbolt, who was killed near Uralla in 1870. Uralla offers fascinating insight into the gold-rush days of the 1850s. This part of Country NSW is steeped in history and nature.
Famous for its laid back village life and unique history, discover fabulous country cafés, bakeries, B&Bs, friendly hotels, delightful clubs, boutique wool and clothes shops and antique stores. Search for gold or gems at the fossicking site, camp with the kids, take the Heritage Walk or take a scenic drive to Gostwyck Chapel. Uralla is a classic Australian country town with a lot to tempt and satisfy the touring traveller.

BUSINESS OVERVIEW
The café has a seating capacity of 28 plus further seating on the footpath. The customer area is approximately 90m² and includes a reverse cycle air conditioner, a wood heater and a fan. The modern commercial kitchen includes all the necessary equipment plus a cool room and gas hot water. There is a space with fittings for a wood fired pizza oven. The 2018/2019 financial year included large expenses relating to the upgrading of kitchen equipment and renovations to the café. This still created a gross profit of $127,374.
